Barbara Ann Steele, 71, passed away September 15, 2018.  Born to the late Wilhelmena Sumter Davis and Adam Davis, Jr., she was a life long resident of Hampton, VA.  She leaves behind her husband, Walter Steele of the home, a brother, sister, sister-in-law and many other relatives and friends.  Viewing will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home, 3009 Chestnut Avenue, Newport News.  Graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2018 at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.  O.
