Bertha C. Davis, 87, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023 in Hampton, VA. She was born on October 11, 1935 in Mullins, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Gertrude Davis.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Hattie Nickerson and Neversee Davis; one brother, George Davis. Even though she never had children of her own, she has two "special daughters", Tracey Davis and Leah Ruff. She is also survived by a "special grandson", Tyrese Ruff. She has a host of loving nieces, nephews, and great grands who can also be considered as children. Bertha will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Her family and friends will gather to pay their respect from 3-6pm on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at O.H. Smith and Son Funeral Home, Newport News, VA. There will also be a viewing from 4-7pm on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Jackson & McGill Funeral Home, Marion, SC. A funeral service will be held at 11am, Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Jackson & McGill Funeral Home. O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
