Mrs. Beulah P. Henderson, 92, passed away peacefully, on August 29, 2018. She was a life-long resident of Newport News, Virginia and a member of Second Baptist Church East End. Beulah was a graduate of Huntington High School, Class of 1944 and Saint Paul's College, Class of 1946. She was a dedicated employee at Second Baptist Church East End, serving as the Secretary, until her retirement, after 41 years. She is survived by her daughters, Judith H. Hope and Lee Diane Wilkerson (Joseph) and two grandchildren, Candace L.Hope and J. Michael Wilkerson.  A funeral service will be held 12 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Second Baptist Church East End, 3307 Newport News, Virginia 23607, with Dr. Leroy Salary officiating.  Mrs. Henderson will lie in state two hours before the service at the church on Thursday.  Viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at O.H. Smith and Son Funeral Home.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
