Charles Lendburgh "Len" Eason departed this life on October 18, 2017. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Civil Service after 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Thelma D. Eason. Len leaves to cherish his memories three beloved children: Charles Michael Eason (Kim Frances), Cheryl Lynise Harris (Michael), Carol Joi Nesmith (Ricky); a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A homegoing service will be held 12 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday at O. H. Smith and Son Funeral Home.
