On June 3, 2021, Charlie Antonio Everett passed away at the age of 64.

Charlie, affectionately known by family and friends as "Tony" was born on April 3, 1957, to the late Sadine Cypress.  Charlie leaves to cherish his memory his father, Otis L. Cypress Sr.; daughter, Hope Palmer (Calvin); son, Deon Everett (Janelle); four grandchildren, Dejah, Calil, Corvin, and Zoe; great grandson Kole; two brothers, Otis Cypress Jr. (Angela), Ronald Cypress; two sisters, Crystal Moore (Larry) and Carolyn Foster; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and loved ones.

Charlie was a dedicated employee at Newport News Shipbuilding for 46 years until his death.  He was a hard worker who loved his job, forged friendships along the way and left a lasting impression on those that came into contact with him.

Charlie was a kindhearted, upbeat and confident man who loved deeply and had an infectious laugh.  He was distinctive about his attire no matter where he was going and meticulous with things that he was passionate about.  He will be greatly missed by everyone who loved and knew him.
