Clara M. Solomon, 88 unexpectedly transitioned to her heavenly home at Riverside Regional Medical Center on February 16, 2025.  She was born on September 5, 1936 in Enfield, NC.  Clara was educated in Enfield Public Schools.

Clara had a kind, loving spirit and truly loved the Lord.  She often spoke of the Lord as her "Roommate". Her heart was huge and would share whatever she had.  Her sense of humor would leave you in tears. Most of all she cherished the bond she shared with Steve, Lee, Stephanie and JR.

Clara's joy was cooking and boy could she bake.

Left to cherish their memories of her are:  Steven and Lee Flemming, Sr. of Hampton, VA, Stephanie Jackson of Portsmouth, VA  and Steven E. Flemming, Jr. of Atlanta, GA.  Pat Clifton of Hampton, VA, Irma Jiles of Newport News, VA and a host of other relatives.

Special thanks to Brenda Parham and Janice Harris for their assistance in seeing that all of Clara's personal needs were met.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home.  Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
