Cora Ann Davis affectionally known as "Princess" entered eternal rest on January 25, 2022. Born January 25, 1959, to Barrett A. Harrison Sr. and Annie Lee Harrison.
Cora was a graduate of Hampton high School class of 1977. She was employed by Providence Baptist Church; Newport News, VA. for almost 20 years as the church secretary. She was currently a member of Ebenezer Baptist church.
Princess was a beautiful fun, loving soul with an infectious smile. Her smile and sweet calm spirit would light up any room. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, and loving on her grandchildren. She was selfless and would help anyone in need.
Cora is survived by her loving husband Ronnie Davis (Hampton, VA). Daughters April Gray (Nickoy Gray) Raleigh NC, Shawnese Belcher (Steven Belcher), Youngstown, Ohio. Son, Ronnie Davis Junior (special friend Aaliyah Thomas). Brother Bruce Harrison (Fredelda Jones), Brother Barrett Harrison of Petersburg, VA, and Godmother, Betsy Upshur of Newport News, VA.
Six grandchildren; Alana Ballard and Nico Gray of Raleigh, NC, Stephon Belcher, Tyshawn Gidney, Judy Belcher of Youngstown, Ohio, and Marcell Davis of Hampton, VA. She also has six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephew's other relatives, family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents James Harrison and Mary Pegram Butts, her son, Alonzo Lee Ballard and brothers, James Lee Harrison and Franklin Freeman Pegram.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 171 Semple Farm Road, Hampton, VA. Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Monday.
