Cornelius W. Glover, Jr., 90, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023.

Mr. Glover was born in Newport News, VA to the late Cornelius W. Glover, Sr. and Martha Gray. Cornelius retired from the Newport News Shipyard after 42 years of service and was a Lifetime Member of the Dochiki Civic and Social Club.

Left to cherish fond memories of him are: his wife Marye Glover; children, Eric (Ann) of Newport News, Rhonda (Carl) of Smithfield and Katrina of Hampton; grandchildren, Eric II of Newport News, Lamech (Brittany) of Newport News, Mitchell (Jalissa) of Hampton and Bethani of US Forces Italy; great grandchildren, Henri II, Mia and Jasiah; sister, Ida Glover of Newport News; and a host of close family and friends.

Viewing will be held from 3-6 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Gethsemane Baptist Church.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
