Cynthia E. Stephenson, 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. She was born in Murfreesboro, NC. Cynthia was educated in Newport News Public Schools and worked for Verizon for 40 plus years. She was a faithful and longtime member of First Baptist Church East End and served on various committees.

She is survived by her children, Melody Briscoe of Hughesville, MD, Jessica Outlaw and Joseph Outlaw, III, both of Hampton; sisters, Rosalind Beveridge, Ruth Bonner and Angela Rogers, and brother, Antonio Stephenson all of Hampton.

Cynthia's love for life was reflective in all she did for her family, church and community.

Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m., Thursday, February 6, at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, February 7, at O.H. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens. O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve her family.
