Mr. David Harris, 96, of Newport News, Virginia departed this life on December 2, 2024, at Hospice House of Williamsburg.

Mr. Harris came to this area in 1947 and was employed by Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company for 42 years. He retired as a first-class mechanic. He is survived by his wife of 78 years, Mary Harris and three daughters- Ruby Ruffin of Newport News, Imogene Bynum of Bowie, MD, and Percys Felder (Willie) of Hanover, MD.
