Doris Delois Garrett Wheeler, 81, was called home to eternal rest on March 1, 2023 at Woodbine Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Alexandria, Virginia while maintaining residence in Washington, DC with her loving niece, Ingrid Garrett and great niece, Vinetta Garrett. Her faithful service to God and devoted care for family, friends and community provide a loving legacy that will be cherished forever.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Christian Union Church. Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve her family.
