Ms. Dorothy M. Smith, 85, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017. She was born in Newport News, Virginia to the late Lenrow Milo, Sr and Ruth Simpson Milo. She was one of three siblings, Lenrow Milo, Jr. and the late Mary Milo Barr, husband David Barr II. "Dot" was married to the late James A. Smith from this union there were 3 daughters, Teneane Smith, Tonya Smith and Terrena Smith; 3 grandsons, Jason Marable, wife Mary Marable, Anthony Leath and Myles Ellis; 2 great grandchildren, Maliya Marable and Langston Marable who all reside in California; 2 nephews, David Barr III and Terrance Milo, wife Tanya Milo and daughter, Ashly Milo.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Victory Life Church, Hampton. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. O.H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
