Edward "Eddie" Lawrence Horne,Jr., 46, departed this life on Saturday, April 22, 2017. The son of Edward Lawrence Horne, Sr. and Catherine Young Horne, he leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Crystal Johnson Horne; one son, Edward Lawrence Horne III; stepdaughter, Xavia Wynn; sister, Tamika Denise Luster; nephews, Terrell, Taji and Troy Luster.

A homegoing service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 28, 2017 at Gethsemane Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Ann Stovall officiating. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Friday. O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the Horne family.
