Ella Delores Bell, born August 20, 1951, entered into eternal rest while at home surrounded by loved ones on October 24, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Elnora Bell and brother, Charles Bell.

Lois, a matriarch to her family, leaves to cherish her memory 3 loving children Alphonso Bell, Calvin Bell, and Maria Robertson (Gary) of Newport News, Virginia; two sisters, Patricia Bell and Barbara Hawk; five brothers, Clinton Bell of Norfolk, Virginia, William Bell of Mount Holly, New Jersey, Willie Bell, Nathaniel Bell and Raymond Bell, all of Newport News, Virginia; and a host of beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1, 2023, 3-6pm.  The Homegoing Service will be Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Noon.  Casual Attire.  Visitation and Homegoing Service will be held at O. H. Smith & Son, 3009 Chestnut Avenue, Newport News, Virginia 23607.  Pastor Willie Gause, presiding. O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
