Elnora Scott, 85, went home to be with the Lord on January 28, 2026. Elnora was born in Wilson, North Carolina and grew up in Tidewater, Virginia. She met her husband, Robert, at Huntington High School, and they graduated in 1959 and married in 1960.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Argolia Edmundson Flemming; daughter, Deborah Marrow; and grandson, Darryl Marrow.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Angela Marthell (Kenneth); son, Robert Scott (Naomi); five brothers, Eugene, George, Steve, Vernon, and Eddie Fleming; one sister, Margie Parker; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and one aunt, Lola Davis.

The viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026 at O.H. Smith and Son Funeral, 3009 Chestnut Avenue, Newport News, VA  23607.  Her Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 pm. on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at First Baptist Church East End, 3000 Jefferson Ave, Newport News, VA 23607.
