Ms. Florine E. Williams, 93, earned her wings on April 13, 2017 peacefully surrounded by her children in Hampton. She was born a twin with her late sister, Florence Ballew, on March 18, 1924 in Cincinnati, OH. Both sisters later relocated to Los Angeles, CA. After retirement, Florine enjoyed traveling the world with her daughter, Robin and playing bingo. Until her failing health, she spent her time volunteering in Hampton with the Salvation Army and the American Food Bank. "Ms. Flo" was a faithful member of Langley Chapel, LAFB, VA and Gethsemane Baptist Church, NN, VA until she could no longer attend.

She is survived by sons, Zachary Williams (Julie) and Michael Williams (Diane); daughters, Robin Williams-Glover (Fred) and Joan Smith-Beason (Leonard); best friend, Correta Johnson ("Son"); a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, adopted children, family and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple, 3100 Butternut Dr., Hampton. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Interment will take place on Friday, April 28, 2017 in Forest Lawn - Covina Hills, Covina, CA. O.H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family locally.
