Dr. Floyd Robinson departed this life on Thursday, June 27, 2019.  A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2019 in the Dr. Floyd Robinson Auditorium on the campus of Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.  Dr. Robinson will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service on Monday.  Interment will take place at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Pleasant Shade Cemetery in Hampton, Virginia.  O.
