Floyd Leonard Willis Jr. (aka Bubba) was born on June 26, 1958 to the late Adele Banks and Floyd Willis Sr.

He was raised in Williamsburg, VA. until he entered the work force when he moved to Newport News, VA. He worked for the City of Newport News, School Board of Hampton and Neptune Fishery of Newport News, VA.

He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Josephine Barrett, two sisters Michelle Corbin and Gloria Barfield.

Floyd is survived by a daughter Lakita Hall (Robert),two sons Demetruis Willis (Lacharnda), and Donta Jordan (Barbara) of Newport News. Two step children Keon Joyner and Antionette Watson of Newport News. Two sisters Joanne Alston-Hooker and Renee Cooke of Newport News; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews; close acquaintances, family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
