Geraldine Henton Cary passed away on October 9, 2023 after a brief illness.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis E. Cary, Jr.; parents, David and Syvonia Hinton; and sister, Lucinda Hinton.

Geraldine was a 1961 graduate of George Washington Carver High School and a devoted member of First Baptist Church Denbigh, where she was a member of the Mary J. Tillerson Seniors Ministry.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Danielle Cary; son, Dr. Damon Cary (Sakeena); grandchildren, Sh'Vonta Cary, Gabrielle Williams and Jordan Cary; great grandson, Ayden Cary; and a host of family and friends.

A Homegoing Service will be held at 1p.m., Friday, October 13, 2023 at First Baptist Church Denbigh.  Interment will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.  Viewing will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church on Friday.
