Glenn Thaxton Davis, beloved son of the late George "Bubba" Davis and Susie A. Davis of Hampton, VA, transitioned on July 23, 2020 in Newport News, VA.  From his youth he was reared in a loving home and in the Greater Walters AME Zion Church family.  He graduated from Hampton High School and later attended Hampton University.  He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.

He is survived by a sister, Gayle Wilson (fiance Mark Armstrong); a niece, Aspen; and many beloved cousins, neighbors and friends.

Inurnment will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
