Gloria Dean Batten, 79, widow of Theodore Batten, Jr., departed this life on November 5, 2023.  A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Zion Baptist Church, Newport News.  Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m., Friday, November 10, 2023 at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church on Saturday.  O.
