Gloria "Bird" Robertson Gary, 68, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Gloria will forever be remembered and cherished by her husband, Alden L. Gary; two daughters, Tonyka Robertson and Teesha Carter (Percell); five grandchildren, Rodney Robertson, Terrick Fair, Deja' Robertson, Jordan Studwell, and Jackson Carter; five great-grandchildren, Tre'Vor Fair, Tre'Von Fair, Tamani Fair, Treshaun Fair and Zy'hir Scarborough; one brother, Roy E. Robertson; one sister, Christine Stegall (Roosevelt); a godmother, Louise Marie Stith; a forever best friend, Angela Tobias Winnegan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Gloria's viewing will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 at O.H. Smith and Son Funeral Home, 3009 Chestnut Ave., Newport News, VA 23607.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Christian Union Church, 3206 Chestnut Ave., Newport News, VA 23607.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
