Gregory Renard Campbell was born in Plattsburgh, New York on July 9, 1958 to Marion Barnes Campbell and the late William W. Campbell.  Greg attended and graduated from Menchville High School.  He proudly served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Army.  Greg was employed with various contracting jobs until his health began to wane.

Gregory loved First Baptist Church East End and his church family.  He truly enjoyed serving as an usher, fellowshipping, and the Word of God.  He loved music, laughing, and just having fun. Greg was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Gregory was a kind and loving person who was devoted to his mother, his brother, daughter, wife, and grandkids.  On September 18, 2021 our Heavenly Father called Gregory from labor to eternal rest.  Greg leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Marion Campbell; his brother, William Campbell; his daughter, Tashima Campbell; his grandson, Solomon Campbell; two stepdaughters, Tyn Campbell and Teyr Campbell; his wife and close friend, Gwendolyn Campbell; special family friend, Reverend Lotus Wheeler; and a host of other family and friends.

Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the funeral home.  Funeral service is 11 a.m., on Friday, October 1, 2021 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
