Henri Elinor Hill, 77, who taught 45 years in the Prince George County Maryland School System, died peacefully in her hometown, Newport News, Virginia, on September 29, 2021.  She is survived by her sister, Judy E. Hill; brother, Elwood L. Hill, Sr. (Gayle); nephew, Elwood L. Hill, Jr. (Lynsey); niece, Tiffany C. Hill; grand-nephew, Elwood L. Hill, III; Melissa Todd, Physical Therapist; and a host of relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held 12 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2021, at O.H. Smith and Son Funeral Home. A private service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 4, 2021, at O.H. Smith and Son Funeral Home, 3009 Chestnut Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607.  COVID-19 restrictions will be followed.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
