Ms. Irene Marie Stinson-Jacobs born to Irving Jacobs, Jr and Ingeborg Prodratz-Jacobs on December 27th 1950 in Detroit, Michigan. Irene is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and one loving son, Daniel William Jacobs, Jr.

 Leaving to cherish her memories is one son, Michale Jacobs of Newport News VA, one daughter, Diane Jones of Newport News, VA, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, and co-workers.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2026 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home, 3009 Chestnut Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607.
