Jennie Banks, 80, of Hampton was granted her angel wings on November 23, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Victor and Viola Wilson; sisters, Jerrine Moran, Sadie Hicks, Brenda Evans, Jean Rodgers, and brother, Larry Wilson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved daughter, Brenda Dennie; sisters, Audrey Coles of Danville, Mary Wilson of Hampton, and Elsie Mae Lovelace of Danville; brother, Vincent of Colorado; one granddaughter and great granddaughter; nieces, nephews, and a host of loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 12 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2018 at Ivy Baptist Church, 50 Maple Avenue, Newport News, VA  23607.  Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  O.
