Joseph L. Battle, Jr., 72, completed his earthly assignment and was summoned to his heavenly home on Friday, January 28, 2022.  Joseph was the eldest son of the late Joseph, Sr. and Myrla Battle.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and caring wife of 28 years, Jacqueline Brown-Battle; daughter, Nicole Battle; 2nd mom, Bertha Battle; brothers, sisters, and a host of family and friends.

Joseph's Celebration of Life Service will be private, however it will be live streamed at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022 at https://mercyseathamptonva.com .  Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.  Memorial contributions in Joseph's honor can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.  O.
