Joyce Lee Green departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018. She was a graduate of Huntington High School Class of 1951. She was an active member of several civic and social organizations.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton Green; parents, Thomas and Vashti Rainey; and a sister, Marionette Lawson. She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Gail Carrols (Robert), a son, Anthony Hicks; a nephew, Sherman Lawson, a grandson, Brandon Jones; a cousin, Mildred Dye, and a host of cherished relatives and friends. She will be sorely missed.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Second Baptist Church East End. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.  Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m., Monday at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.  O. H.
