Judy "J.D." Lynch, 60, was called to glory on Saturday, May 26, 2018 in Hampton, Virginia.  She was born on March 25, 1958, the only child of Louise Lynch, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

She moved to Newport News, Virginia where she was a wonderful at home mom and then a construction worker for some time.  "J.D." was also an amazing MCI Customer Service Representative.  Her  loving spirit touched everyone she met in her life.

Judy had three children that she proudly raised, Alice "Lil Bit," David and "Joey" whom she loved with all her being and did anything for them. Her children stated that she was the kind hearted, loving, caring and giving mom that God gave them.  "Anyone that knew our mom, knew she loved Walmart! One of her passions was baking cakes with love.  She also enjoyed playing cards with her favorite players.  Our mother valued family no matter what the circumstances. She loved her dogs, Tuesday and Sting.  She also valued friendship and kept friends for a lifetime. Mom was a fun and playful soul. Her favorite song was 'Let the Music Play' by Shannon, and with this we say...Ma, Play On, Play On."

Judy is survived by her children, Alice "Lil Bit," David and Joseph Lynch; mother, Louise Lynch; godchildren, Yomashei and Jamar Coleman; grandchildren, Juwan, Zhane', Trinity, NaKiah, Javeon, Te'Deon, Yukari, London, Brooke, Heaven, Jamari, Lu-Lu and D.J.; great grandchildren, Jermiah, Jayla, Jaydan, Jordyn; nieces and nephew, Sade, Deomashei and Yasine "Biggie;" her special friend, William White; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2018 at Faith Deliverance Church, 6116 Roanoke Avenue, Newport News, VA  23607.
