Kevin G. Leonard, 56, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 1, 2017. He was the son of Margie R. and James W. Leonard, Sr. He graduated from Menchville High School in 1978 and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father and his grandson, L. Deontae Kittles.

He lovingly leaves to cherish his memories his mother, two daughters, Danielle "Nikki" Kittles and Juanita "Nita" Payne; three grandchildren, one great grandson, two brothers, two sisters, a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 6, 2017 at Galilee Baptist Church, Newport News. Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. Thursday at O.H. Smith & Son Funeral Home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Friday.
