Larry Leroy Jordan, 74, of Hampton, Virginia passed away peacefully in the presence of his wife, Shirley Sisco Jordan, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

Larry, affectionately known as L.J., was born in Newport News and attended public school in Newport News from elementary through high school. He graduated from Collis P. Huntington High School (Huntington High School) and earned an athletic scholarship to Norfolk State University, where he achieved his bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in marketing in 1972.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Shirley, his son; Larry Rahman Jordan; his bonus children Felita Sisco Bunn (Curtis) and Antonio Leander Sisco (Erika); his sisters, Iris Randolph (Jerry) and Sonjia Jordan; his baby brother, Anthony Jordan (Carolyn); a sister-in-law, Theresa Cox; an aunt, Bernice Randolph (Byrd); two bonus grandsons, Blake William Rascoe and Eric Antonio Sisco; and a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his beloved Omega Psi Phi brothers.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at noon, November 4 at O.H. Smith and Son Funeral Home, 3009 Chestnut Avenue, Newport News, Virginia 23607.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
