It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of LaTasha Brewington, who brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Born on September 25, 1981, in Hampton, Virginia, LaTasha was the beloved daughter of James Bailey Brewington and Claudette Regina Brewington.

LaTasha was a devoted mother to her two children, Jasha Brewington and Jamesha Brewington. She took great pride in their accomplishments, including their academic endeavors, athletic accolades, even their graduations.

LaTasha worked tirelessly as a Certified Nurses Aide, bringing comfort and care to those in need. Her compassion and kindness touched the lives of many. Though we mourn her passing, we will always remember LaTasha for her infectious laugh, her love of dancing, and her unwavering devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.  Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024 at the funeral home.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
