Legacy of Life

Linda C. Rogers, 70, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2024.  She was a 24 year breast cancer survivor and battled declining health for the last 5 years.  She was a waitress at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Hampton, Virginia for many years.

She loved her family and was a devoted daughter, sister, mother and friend.  Her boys meant the world to her as well as her community.  She was a giver of her time, love and wisdom.  She never met a stranger and her desire was to help everyone.  She loved all the simple things of life, the beach, fishing, country music and cooking good food.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Roberts; father, Billy Rogers; and sister, Pam.

She is survived by her sons, Jamie and Josh; grandchildren, Keion, Keiayna, and Cameron; great grandchild, Jaycn; sister, Janet; nieces, Carrie, Brandy and Jessica; all of her friends and neighborhood kids who called her Ms. Linda and loved her so much.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Viewing will be on held from 3-6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the funeral home.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
