Lizzie Mae Howard was born September 28, 1929 in Clinton, NC to the late Mitchell and Claudie Lamb. She moved to Newport News, VA in 1955.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Kennis Howard, 2 daughters and a son. And, unfortunately, one daughter who passed away approximately 1 hour after she passed. The Lord called her home on April 5, 2025 at the age of 95. She was the oldest of nine siblings.

She is survived by one brother, Jimmy Lamb, a daughter, Georgia M. Ebron and a son, Michael A. Howard, Sr. She leaves behind fourteen grandchildren, Nathaniel Howard (Michelle), Michelle Hardy (James), Tracy Moore (Tamekia), LaTeshia Howard, Marvin Devon Taylor, Donte D. Taylor (Nola), Edwin L. Greene, Jr., Trenten A. Taylor (Dr. Dominique Blanchette-Taylor), Tiffany Parraway, Tierra Howard, Michael A. Howard, Jr., Aaron Howard, Devin Howard, Isaac Johnson, 31 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the funeral home.  A Celebration of LIfe Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 18, 2025 at O. H.
