Lucy G. Spragley was born August 21, 1934 in Edgecombe City, NC. She departed this life on Sunday, December 6, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Bertha Lee Whitaker and Collin Whitaker. She retired from Ferguson High School after 40 years of service as a cook.

Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Due to COVID 19 restrictions a private service will be held.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
