Maggie M. Carroll, born June 17, 1939 in Laurinburg, NC, peacefully answered the Master's call on Saturday, May 6, 2017 while surrounded by her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband, Louis E. A. Carroll, Sr.; daughter, LaNeva Swann (James); sons, Louis E. A. Carroll, Jr. (Michelle) and George Carroll (Hope); godsons, Michael Braxton (Lenee) and Terrance Wesley (Takela); six grandchildren, Nicholas Swann, Eiesha Capri, Isaiah Carroll, Kevin Corey, Keyra Corey, Christopher Corey and a host of other relatives and friends.
A homegoing service will be held 11:30 a.m., Monday, May 15, 2017 at World Victory Church and Life Center. Interment will follow in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. Viewing will on from 12 to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Monday. O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
