Margaret J. Drew, 92, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at her home in Hampton, Virginia.  Margaret was born on September 6, 1927 and was one of ten children of the late Henry and Dora Drew.

Margaret graduated from Huntington High School located in the East End of Newport News, Virginia.  Margaret was a trailblazing career woman of her time.  She worked her way up from a store clerk to senior store manager at Standard Drug Store in downtown Newport News.

Margaret enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling and was an excellent seamstress.  She also enjoyed having large cookouts and holiday gatherings with family and friends.

Margaret leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her sister, Beatrice Edwards of Smithfield, Virginia; her nieces and care providers, Phyllis E. Pugh and Tracy Small Johnson both of Hampton, Virginia; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, March 11, 2021 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home.
