Mary C. Wright entered into eternal rest November 5, 2022. She was born in Newport News, VA, February 21, 1927.

She was a member of First Church of Newport News. She was employed by the U.S. Air Force civil service for 31 years and retired in 1985.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack T. Wright, Sr.; and daughter, Barbara L. Peterson.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Joyce L. Turner, Cynthia M. Austin, and Mack T. Wright, Jr.; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held, 11 a.m. Thursday, November 10, at O.H. Smith & Son, Newport News. Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
