HAMPTON - Michael S. Alexander, 45, of Hampton, Virginia, passed away in Richmond, Virginia on November 8, 2017. He was born in Hampton, Virginia on November 18, 1971. He graduated from Bethel High School with highest honors in 1989 and attended Virginia Tech, majoring in Electrical Engineering and was a member of the Engineering Honor Association. He attended St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church, where he was baptized and confirmed.

He is survived by his parents Ida and Willie Jones and Richard and Carolyn Alexander; his sisters, Michelle (Stephen) Arrington, Kristal (Jarrod) Craig and Ashley Alexander. Nieces, McKinzie-Leigh, Leila, Trinity and Makeila and his nephew Aaron Jr. Also, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at O.H. Smith & Son Funeral Home, 3009 Chestnut Avenue, Newport News, Virginia 23607. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1 - 6 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
