It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael W. Edwards who departed this life on Sunday, August 30, 2026.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026 at Gethsemane Baptist Church, Newport News.  Prior to the Memorial Service at the church on Monday, there will be a service by Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated at 10 a.m.  Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.  O.
