In Loving Memory of Millie Mae Nevels

February 12, 1948 – November 22, 2025

Millie Mae Nevels, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, was born on February 12, 1948  to the late Hubert Foster and Anne Bell Billups-Foster. She peacefully passed away at the age of 76 on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

Millie is survived by her devoted sons, Anthony (Joyia) Nevels and Derek (Breshell) Nevels; cherished grandchildren, Anthony Nevels Jr., Michelle Nevels, Britney (Sam) Nevels-Jones, David Nevels, Alexander (Jasmine) Nevels, Whitney Bingham, DeAndre (Jazmine) Nevels, Jazmine (Kentrell) Copeland, Jamilah Taylor, Chasity Nevels, Kiarra Nevels, Derek Nevels, and Bria Nevels; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who loved her dearly.

The viewing will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home, 3009 Chestnut Avenue, Newport News, Virginia 23607 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
