Oliver L. Hawkins, Jr. passed on February 20, 2023 in Sentara CarePlex Hospital.  He was the son of the late Oliver, Sr. and Annie Tumlin Hawkins.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ernestine P. Hawkins; daughter, Cynthia Carey (Shawn); granddaughters, Reese and Morgan; sisters, Sharon Hawkins Griffin and Jocelyn A. Hawkins; sister-in-law, Barbara J. Hawkins; nieces, nephews and a host of dear family and friends.

The Homegoing Service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home.  Viewing will be held from 3-6 p.m.  on Monday at the funeral home.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
