To Earth

Virginia native, Pamela Jones Everette Hucks, was born to Pearline Williams Jones and Arthur Jones on Friday, October 17, 1958.  She was a vibrant child and matriculated through the Newport News Public Schools.  Pamela became a Certified Nursing Assistant and loved every opportunity to help others in need.  She always appreciated fashion and took great care with her personal style.  Most importantly, Pamela was a believer in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.  She was best known for her loving spirit and kind nature.

To Eternity

Pamela peacefully answered the Master's call on Friday, October 27, 2023.  Just over a week after her 65th birthday, the Lord sent a chariot of angels to her earthly home to escort her to eternity.  Pamela was reunited in Heaven with her beloved mother, Pearline.

Pamela's Legacy

Pamela leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted husband, Mark Curtis Hucks; dear daughter, Angel Rogers; beloved sons, Alex Jones and Adam Jones; grandchildren, Demitri Hughes, Zion Rogers, Nigel Rogers, and Christopher Jones; special aunt--her mother's sister--Shirley Rose Williams Thomas {Raymond} of Savannah, Georgia; special cousin, Charles Cherry; and, a host of loving relatives and friends in Virginia, Georgia, and North Carolina.  She was especially connected to her cousins in Savannah, Georgia--the Thomas daughters--Sheri, Linda, Reina, MaSheila, Regina, Carmen {her birthday twin}, and Valencia.

Pamela's Celebration

The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2023 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home.  Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2023 at the funeral home.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
