Patrick A. Steward born November 14, 1958 in Newport News, Virginia passed on January 13, 2025.  He was the son of the late John "Buddy" Steward and Ida Janette Smith Steward.  He was one of six children born to the couple.  His brother Ronald also preceded him in death.

Left to celebrate his life and memory is his daughter, Angel Stokes of Atlanta, Georgia; sons, Marcus Terrell, Patrick Jackson and Shyheim Jackson, all of Newport News, 10 grandchildren; sisters, Patricia "Nookie" Vinson and husband Derek, Sandra "Nana" Lassiter; brothers, Johnny Steward and Timothy Steward and his wife Agnes; aunts, Velma "Bunny" Knox and Vivian White; and uncle, Lloyd "Butch" Smith.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 1, 2025.  The service will be held at O. H. Smith Funeral Home, 3009 Chestnut Avenue, Newport News, Virginia. O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
