Percy Alfred Mason, Jr., 62, peacefully departed this life on June 12, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Percy was born to the late Percy A. Mason, Sr. and Annie Noel Mason of Disputana, VA.  He was a graduate of Prince George High School, Class of 1974 and a graduate of Norfolk State University in 1979.  Percy was employed by the Newport News Shipbuilding for 33 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis R. Mason.

He leaves to cherish his memories, children, Tiffany S. and Darryl C. Mason; grandchildren, Tayanna, Ta'Shawn, Tre'Quan and Corey; his twin brother, 6 sisters, 2 sisters-in-law, 1 aunt, 1 uncle and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 12 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Church of Jesus, 630 Anderson Lane, Hampton, with Elder Michael Wyche, officiating.  Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m., Friday at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday.  O.
