Pierre-Marie Glatt, local author of "A Haitian Woman's Feelings", mother, registered nurse, and resident of Newport News, VA, was born on June 29, 1962 to the union of Beatrice and Calisthene Fequiere. Marie died on July 22, 2025 at the age of 63 during hospice care.

Marie was affectionately called "Mondo" by her family. Marie is survived by her daughter Adele Washington (Elijah), her sister Domonique Farrow (Phillip), her sister Beatrice DeBonis (Richard), her brother Paul Fequiere, and her first niece Natalie Blackmon. Marie was loved by and will be missed by her family and friends.

Marie had great pride in her knowledge and being a registered nurse. She would often say being a mother was her greatest accomplishment. She would always be willing to share her honest opinion and advice. She loved her daughter, her family, and her friends very much. She will be remembered as strong and persistent with every goal she made.

Her favorite Scripture was Psalms 23, King James Version Bible.

Marie's Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at New Life Church - Ghent Campus, 1420 Colonial Ave., Norfolk, VA 23517.  Please continue to keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
