Obituary

On Sunday February 9, 2025, Ramona Kay Turner-Skull was called to rest by a loving and all-wise God. She was born to Pearl and the late Billy Jones on March 30, 1966 in Barstow, California. She was educated in the Barstow unified school system, and furthered her education at Thomas Nelson Community College. She was employed as a materials handler III at AAFES - DDDC and retired in 2023 after 27 years of Federal Service. At the time of her death she was employed by the Hampton Public School System.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Anthony Skull; daughters, Nautisha Mann (Alexander), Marguerete Shackelford (Brandon) and son, Marcus Hardrick; her mother, Pearl Jones; sister, Angela Deloatch (Tony); brothers, Michael Jones (Cynthia), and Anthony Jackson (Kenya); Zadie Slider - aunt; James Williams- uncle; grandchildren, MaKayla, Tiana, Tajiri, Zeniyah, and Leah; stepchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ramona will be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends. She leaves a lasting legacy of power, strength, calmness, control, diplomatic, non judgmental and only wished for everyone to get along.

Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
