NEWPORT NEWS – Randall "Randy" Drew, Jr., 78, born January 4, 1942 and peacefully entered eternal life on Saturday, November 7, 2020 after facing health challenges. Randy was educated in Newport News Public School System, graduating from Huntington High School in 1959.  He was a retired U.S. Postal Service employee, a member of the Peninsula Lost Chord Club, National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 609, Virginia State Association of Letter Carriers and was a past member of the Dochiki Civic and Social Club for years.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Edith Clarke Paige; stepfather, James H. Paige; sister, Patricia Paige and grandson, Zachary Powell.

He leaves to cherish his loving and dedicate wife of 55 years, Judith P. Drew; daughters, Lynne Powell (Edward) of Upper Marlboro, MD and Bridgett Watson (Jerry) of Brandywine, MD; grandchildren, Karmin Powell, Drew Powell, Jerae Watson, Morgan Powell, Jamar Watson and Jaida Watson all of Maryland; great-grandson, Drew Zachary Powell of Charlotte, NC;  sisters, Janice Thomas (Eddie) of Arlington, TN, Vinetta McCullough of Baltimore, MD and brother, James Paige (Linda) of Columbia, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Peninsula Lost Chord Club in care of Tom D. Olsavicky at 121 Mill Lane, Grafton, VA 23692.  A private memorial service will take place at a later time.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
