Randolph L. Overton, son of Cecil R. Overton, passed on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

He was born on December 20, 1974, and raised in Newport News, VA.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Audrey R. White, Tommy R. Overton, Sr., and Aurelia S. Overton, two uncles, Tommy R. Overton, Jr., Norman T. Overton, and uncle-in-law, Curtis L. Jennings.

Randy attended school in Newport News, VA.  He earned his GED.

Randy leaves to cherish his memories his father, Cecil Overton; one brother, Phillip Overton; two nephews, Adrien and Davonne Overton; four aunts, Scerene Giles (Mark), Audrey Overton, Faye Jennings and Phyllis Overton; two great-aunts, Evelyn Holmes (Powhatan) and Joan Neal; and a host of family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Please keep the family in prayer.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
