Robert V. Evans, Sr. departed this life on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. A funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m.., Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Interment with military honors by the United States Marine Corps will follow in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. Viewing will be from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday, October 2, 2017 at the funeral home and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service on Tuesday.
